About Wonderful Children Daycare & Our Founder
The Wonderful Children Preschool was born out of a deep desire to create a nurturing and inspiring environment for children aged 12 months to 5 years. Our goal is to provide a space for exploration and discovery, where children’s innate joy for learning and creativity flourishes.
Our approach emphasizes a collaborative educational experience that strengthens the bond between children, teachers, and parents. We believe that a warm, welcoming environment is key to fostering growth and connection during these formative years.

Our history
Ms. Veronica Vatavu, founder and director of Wonderful Children Day Care/Preschool, dedicated over 25 years of her career as a licensed physician in her home country, specializing in Internal Medicine and Epidemiology. Half of her medical career was devoted to working in pediatric clinics and hospitals, where she cared for children of all ages with compassion and expertise.
In 2012, Veronica relocated to the United States to be closer to her daughter. While her medical career ended, her passion for working with children remained unwavering. She continued to dedicate herself to the growth and well-being of children through childcare services and education.
In 2018, Veronica's lifelong love for learning and desire to create space for exploration and discovery led to the founding of Wonderful Children Day care & Preschool. This project is rooted in her vision of a bilingual, child-centered environment that celebrates the joy of learning and creativity.
Wonderful Children offers a participatory educational experience that strengthens the daily relationships between children, teachers, and parents, fostering growth in the most nurturing setting. With its unique approach, school prepares children for success in a global, multicultural world.
Veronica’s journey has been enriched by attending advanced learning programs at the Loris Malaguzzi Center/Reggio Children, deepening her understanding of the renowned Reggio Emilia approach.
Outside of the preschool, you’ll often find Veronica happily immersed in her hobbies—gardening, writing, dancing, laughing, and embracing new opportunities for growth and discovery. Her joy and passion continue to inspire the heart of Wonderful Children Preschool.

We create a warm, home-like atmosphere to ease the transition from home to preschool. Our facility is clean, eco-friendly, and filled with carefully curated materials for indoor and outdoor exploration.
